Products

The KPS comes is currently available in two sizes with a third size currently being developed. KLIONIC currently has a 154 mm Series and a 110 mm Series. The 154 mm Series is ideal for external walls, flooring and roof systems, and the 110 mm Series is favourable for the erection of barriers, and internal walls. More applications and benefits of KPS can be seen here.

In designing the KPS product, reducing cost was one of objectives. Our product reduces cost by:
  • Using fewer building materials and components, therefore, reducing the number of trades and the amount of waste. This results in a significant cost reduction.
  • Achieving a long life-cycle, therefore minimising potential costly rectifications.

In addition, the KPS was designed to:
  • Allow the wall and corner panels to interconnect with all the KPS series.
  • Allow the panel chambers to be filled with different media as required.
  • Achieve the required physical attributes as dictated by the Standards.
  • Be sustainable aligning with modern environmental considerations.

Corner-panel

The Corner Panel in the KPS is designed to connect perpendicular walls seamlessly. Key features include:
  • Connectors: One end of the Corner Panel includes a 'male' connector, while the perpendicular face features a 'female' connector, allowing for a secure and straightforward connection between walls.
  • Sealed Cavities: All Corner Panels contain sealed cavities, ensuring structural integrity and enhancing the panel's performance in terms of insulation and waterproofing.

U-channel

The U-channel in the KPS serves multiple crucial functions depending on its placement. Additionally, it can be cut with hand saws and battery-operated hole-cutting saw bits as required to ensure a perfect fit on site.

The primary uses of;
Base-Channel:
  • Guidance: Secures the panel above the sub-base flooring, providing a guide for the installation of wall panels.
  • Straight Edge: Offers a straight edge along the base plate and the sub-base to facilitate sealing, enhancing waterproofing against external environmental elements or between two sole occupancy units.
Top-Channel:
  • Structural Rigidity: Installed over the top of the wall panels to provide additional structural support.
  • Sealing Surface: Creates a flat surface for sealing along the wall and ceiling-floor/roof junction.
Terminating-Channel:
  • Apertures: Installed at wall/ceiling-roof panels, cut accordingly to form window and door apertures.
Sealing Surface: Provides a flat surface for sealing around the placement of window and door frames.

KLIONIC Wall Panel

The KPS is versatile and can be used to construct both walls and ceiling/roof systems. The system offers the following features:
  • Wall Thickness Options:
    • 154 mm
    • 110 mm
    • 200 mm (coming soon)
  • Versatility: All KPS panels, regardless of thickness, can be used for the construction of internal and external walls, as well as ceiling/roof systems.
  • Interconnectivity: All panels (110 mm, 154 mm, and 200 mm series) can be connected to each other. This is because all the 'male'/'female' connectors are the same for the Corner and Main Panels.
  • Customisable Chambers: Unlike other plastic form-work, the KPS feature a series of sealed cavities that allow different media to be inserted into each panel chamber as required for various purposes, including structural, acoustics, thermal, and fire-rating needs.
